We offer two types of product range – a standard product range and customized materials. Both product ranges are based on recycled raw materials that meet high standards for quality and traceability.
A third-generation family business in the Polykemi Group. Polykemi AB was founded in 1968 and Rondo Plast was formed in 1980 to work solely on the development of recyclable plastic materials.

Hugo Jönsson established Rondo Plast on May 1, 1980 with the dedicated aim of exploring the potential of recycled plastic material.
From the Nordics to the world
Rondo Plast’s primary market is the Nordic region. In other parts of the world we sell our recycled materials through our parent company Polykemi and its subsidiaries.
Plastic material with nine lives?
At least nine if we get to decide. Rondo Plast was born out of a belief in recycling. Our mission is to continue finding ways to give plastic material as many long lives as possible.

Yesterday’s trash is today’s resource
Waste from manufacturing and used plastic items was long considered to be dirty, poor quality material. Only virgin material was good enough. Today we know better. Recycled plastic material is a recovered resource and a highly sought-after raw material.
A family history
Rondo Plast was founded in 1980 in Ystad in the south of Sweden, and production still takes place there today. We are still a family-owned company and part of the Polykemi Group, and we operate closely with our parent company, Polykemi AB. We have remained committed to recycled plastic ever since Polykemi AB was founded in 1968.
Back when recycled plastic materials were at the bottom of everyone’s wish list, our founder saw the opportunities in exploring these hidden resources. Determination carried us through the years and their ups and downs. But more importantly, it gave us a hard-to-beat head start in the field of recycled plastic materials.
